UPSC NDA NA I Exam Notification 2026 – Apply Online for 394 Posts
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official NDA & NA (I) Exam 2026 Notification for 394 vacancies. Eligible male and female candidates who have passed or are appearing for Class 12th can apply online from 10 December 2025 to 30 December 2025 through the UPSC official website.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Army Wing: 12th Class pass (10+2 pattern)
- Air Force, Navy & Naval Academy: 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
- 12th appearing candidates can apply (must pass by 10 Dec 2026)
- 11th class students NOT eligible
Nationality
Must be:
- Citizen of India OR
- Subject of Nepal OR
- Person of Indian origin migrated from select countries (with eligibility certificate)
Marital Status
- Must be UNMARRIED
- Marriage before completion of training leads to disqualification
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2027)
- Candidates must be born between 01/07/2007 and 01/07/2010

Selection Process
UPSC NDA & NA selection has three stages:
1. Written Examination (900 marks)
- Mathematics: 300 marks
- GAT (English + GK): 600 marks
- Objective-type questions
- Black ball pen only
- Negative marking: 1/3rd
2. SSB Interview (900 marks)
Includes OIR, PPDT, Psychology Tests, Interview & GTO tasks.
Air Force candidates must also clear CPSS.
3. Medical Examination
Conducted by Armed Forces Medical Services.
Final merit list is prepared based on Written + SSB scores.
Salary & Benefits
During Training
- Stipend: ₹56,100 per month
- Training cost borne by Government
- Pocket expenses: approx ₹3,000/month
