Selection Process
The DAV Recruitment 2026-27 selection process is conducted in three phases:
Phase 1 – Registration & Verification
- Check the vacancy advertisement of the concerned DAV school/zone.
- Complete the centralized online CBT registration form.
- Submit the form for verification.
- Take a printout of the application form.
- Visit the designated DAV verification centre with original testimonials.
- After successful verification, the application will be approved for payment.
- Pay the ₹300/- CBT fee within 7 days of approval.
Phase 2 – DAV Computer-Based Test
- Eligible and paid candidates will appear in the DAV CBT.
- Admit cards are expected to be issued in November 2026.
- The CBT is scheduled for December 2026.
- Candidates who qualify the CBT will receive a Provisional Eligibility Card (PEC).
Phase 3 – Demo & Interview
- DAV schools/zones will advertise vacancies for the next stage.
- PEC-qualified candidates can participate in the applicable demo and interview process.
- Final selection will be made through the prescribed school-level selection process.

- Read the eligibility requirements for the post carefully.
- Register using your own Registered Mobile Number (RMN) and email ID.
- Fill in the centralized CBT registration form.
- Submit the form as “FORM READY FOR VERIFICATION”.
- Take a printout of the application form.
- Visit the nearest designated verification centre with the required original documents.
- After verification and approval, pay the ₹300/- CBT fee online within 7 days.
- Download the admit card when released.
- Appear for the DAV CBT.
- Qualified candidates can obtain the PEC and participate in the applicable demo/interview process.
