Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit (As on 1st January 2024)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years
- Age Relaxation:
- Five years for SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen.
- Ten years for Persons with Disabilities with 40% or more disability.
2. Educational Qualification
- A Bachelor’s Degree with a one-year Postgraduate Diploma or Degree in Journalism/Mass Communication
- Adequate knowledge of Computer Applications is mandatory.
Selection Process
The selection process includes two stages:
- Written Examination: Four subjective papers, each of 100 marks.
- Paper I: Odia
- Paper II: General English
- Paper III: General Awareness
- Paper IV: Journalism & Mass Communication
- Viva Voce Test: Candidates shortlisted based on written examination results will be called for a 30-mark viva voce test.
