🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Soldier (General Duty)
- Qualification: Class 10th (Matric) pass with 45% aggregate marks and 33% in each subject.
- For grading systems, candidates must have at least D Grade (33–40%) per subject and C2 Grade (45%) overall.
Soldier (Clerk)
- Qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science).
- Must have 60% aggregate and 50% in each subject.
- Must score at least 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Bookkeeping in Class 12.
Soldier Tradesmen (Except House Keeper & Mess Keeper)
- Qualification: Class 10th pass.
- No aggregate percentage required, but 33% in each subject is mandatory.
Soldier Tradesmen (House Keeper & Mess Keeper)
- Qualification: Class 8th pass.
- No aggregate percentage required, but 33% in each subject is mandatory.
💪 Physical Standards
For Male Candidates
- Height: Minimum 160 cm
- Relaxation to 157 cm for candidates from Eastern Himalayan Region (Sikkim, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Darjeeling, Kalimpong) and Indian Domicile Gorkhas, Garhwalis & Ladakhis.
- Chest: 77 cm (unexpanded), 82 cm (expanded)
- Weight: As per Army medical standards (proportionate to height and age)
For Female Candidates
- Height: Minimum 157 cm
- Relaxation to 152 cm for candidates from Eastern Himalayan Region and Indian Domicile Gorkhas.
- Chest: Minimum expansion of 5 cm
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per Army medical standards
