UCMS Junior Assistant Recruitment Vacancy Details:

Pay Scale:

  • Pay Level: Level-02 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200)
  • Classification: Group C, Ministerial
  • Age Limit: Maximum 27 years

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Educational Qualification:
    • Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board.
    • Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computers.
  2. Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years
    • PwBD: 10 years
    • Additional relaxations check notification.

Exam Scheme:

The selection process involves two written papers and a skill test.

Syllabus Highlights:

  1. General Awareness: Current events, Indian history, geography, general polity, scientific research, etc.
  2. Reasoning Ability: Verbal and non-verbal reasoning, analogies, problem-solving, etc.
  3. Mathematical Ability: Number system, simplification, percentages, profit and loss, time and work, etc.
  4. Language (English/Hindi): Vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, comprehension, letter writing, etc.

Paper-I: Written Test (MCQ Type)

  • Duration: 3 hours
  • Total Marks: 200
  • Components:
    • General Awareness: 50 Questions (50 Marks)
    • Reasoning Ability: 50 Questions (50 Marks)
    • Mathematical Ability: 50 Questions (50 Marks)
    • Language (English or Hindi): 50 Questions (50 Marks)

Paper-II: Essay, Comprehension & Letter Writing

  • Duration: 1.5 hours
  • Total Marks: 100

Skill Test:

  • Typing Test:
    • Typing speed: 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi (on a computer).
    • The test is qualifying in nature and is mandatory for all candidates.
