Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill any one of the following educational routes:

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing from a recognized University or Institute; OR
  • Regular course in B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University or Institute; OR
  • Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University or Institute.

Candidates under the above B.Sc. Nursing routes must also be:

  • Registered as a Nurse or Nurse and Mid-wife (RN or RN & RM) with a State Nursing Council.

OR

Candidates may have:

  • Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized Board or Council.
  • Registration as a Nurse or Nurse and Mid-wife from a State Nursing Council.
  • One year experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the prescribed educational qualification.
