Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following educational routes:
- B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing from a recognized University or Institute; OR
- Regular course in B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University or Institute; OR

Candidates under the above B.Sc. Nursing routes must also be:
- Registered as a Nurse or Nurse and Mid-wife (RN or RN & RM) with a State Nursing Council.

- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized Board or Council.
- Registration as a Nurse or Nurse and Mid-wife from a State Nursing Council.
