Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification differs according to the post. Candidates should check the detailed CEN 05/2026 notification for the exact qualification and registration requirements for their selected post.
Educational Qualification
- Nursing Superintendent: B.Sc Nursing or relevant recognized nursing qualification/GNM as prescribed, along with the required nursing registration.
- Pharmacist (Entry Grade): Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D from a recognized institution with the required registration under the Pharmacy Act.
- Health & Malaria Inspector Grade II: B.Sc with Chemistry as one of the prescribed subjects plus the required Health/Sanitary Inspector qualification.
- Radiographer X-Ray Technician: 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry along with the prescribed Diploma in Radiography/X-Ray Technician/Radiodiagnosis Technology.
- Audiologist & Speech Therapist: Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) with required RCI registration.
- ECG Technician: Relevant ECG/Cardiology qualification as prescribed.
- Optometrist: B.Sc in Optometry or prescribed Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician.
- Lab Assistant Grade II: 10+2 with Science and prescribed Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Dialysis Technician: Relevant recognized qualification in Dialysis Technology as prescribed in the notification.
Age Limit
The post-wise age limit is:
- Nursing Superintendent: 20–40 Years
- Pharmacist: 20–35 Years
- Dialysis Technician: 20–33 Years
- Health & Malaria Inspector Grade II: 18–33 Years
- Audiologist & Speech Therapist: 21–30 Years
- Radiographer X-Ray Technician: 19–33 Years
- ECG Technician: 18–33 Years

Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2027.

Selection Process
The selection process for RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026 includes:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination
The CBT includes questions from Professional Ability, General Awareness, General Arithmetic/General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Science. The examination carries 100 questions for 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes, with 1/3 negative marking for each wrong answer.
