For Science Subjects:

For Non-Science Subjects:
- 10+2 in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English, OR

- Height: 152 cm (Males & Females); 147 cm for North East & hilly regions
- Chest (Males): Minimum 77 cm with 5 cm expansion
- Vision: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6

- Dental: Healthy gums, at least 14 dental points
- Hearing: Normal hearing in both ears
