Indian Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate Level Recruitment CEN 05/2024.   • Application Begin: 14/09/2024
  • Last Date for Apply Online: 13/10/2024
  • Last Date Pay Exam Fee: 13/10/2024
  • Correction / Modified Form: 16-25 October 2024

Application Fee:

  • General / OBC / EWS: 500/-
  • SC / ST / PH: 250/-
  • All Category Female: 250/-
  • After Appear the Stage I Exam
  • UR/OBC/EWS Candidate Fee Refund: 400/-
  • SC / ST / PH / Female Candidate Refund: 250/-

How to Pay Application Fee:

  • The examination fee can be paid through a Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking. For a higher success rate, it is recommended to use the UPI mode for payment.

Age Limit as on 01/01/2025:

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 36 Years

Overview of Vacancy Details

Graduate-level posts require a minimum educational qualification of a University Degree or its equivalent. The eligible age range is 18 to 36 years (with 3 years relaxation as per CEN details), effective as of January 1, 2025.

Stages of Exam:

The examination process will consist of two stages of Computer Based Tests (CBTs), followed by either a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) or Typing Skill Test (TST), wherever applicable.

  • CBAT is required for the Station Master post.
  • TST is required for the posts of Senior Clerk cum Typist and Junior Account Assistant cum Typist.
  • For the posts of Goods Train Manager and Senior Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, there will be two stages of CBT, followed by document verification and a medical examination.

Shortlisting for Various Stages:

  • Candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT will be shortlisted RRB-wise at 15 times the vacancies.
  • Shortlisting for the Computer-Based Aptitude Test and Typing Skill Test will be up to 8 times the vacancies (subject to adjustment based on the Railway Administration’s needs), based on merit in the 2nd Stage CBT.
  • Candidates qualified in 1st stage CBT as OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwBD will retain their category status in all subsequent stages.

Negative Marking:

  • A penalty of 1/3rd of the marks for each wrong answer will apply in CBTs.
