The Indian Navy has officially released the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme January 2027 Notification for recruitment into Permanent Commissioned Officer posts in Technical Branches. A total of 60 vacancies have been announced for eligible unmarried male and female candidates who have completed 10+2 with PCM and appeared for JEE (Main) 2026.

Selected candidates will undergo a 4-year B.Tech program at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, leading to a Permanent Commission in the Indian Navy.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must satisfy the following conditions:

Academic Qualification

  • Passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) with:
    • Minimum 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM)
    • Minimum 50% marks in English (Class X or XII)

JEE Requirement

Applicants must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2026 (B.E./B.Tech) and possess a valid CRL Rank. Selection for SSB interview will be based on JEE Main All India CRL merit.


Age Limit

Candidates must be born between:

02 July 2007 to 01 January 2010 (inclusive)

No age relaxation has been mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process

Selection will be conducted in the following stages:

Stage 1 – JEE Main 2026 Shortlisting

Candidates will be shortlisted based on JEE Main 2026 Common Rank List (CRL).

  • Visakhapatnam

Stage 3 – Medical Examination

Training Details

Selected cadets will receive 4 years of B.Tech training at Indian Naval Academy.
